Friends of Dreams Can Be in Johnstown
hold roving dinner fundraisers
We are touched by the generosity of a group of folks in our hometown of Johnstown, PA. Under the diligent leadership of Mali Scuderi a group of neighbors and friends have organized roaming dinners in support of Dreams Can Be. Mali has organized 5 weeks of dinners where each guest has to make a donation of their own choosing for the dinner, the host buys the ingredients and guests bring the wine and beverages. The guests cook together and then enjoy the food they have prepared. We were just presented $2,400 worth of checks from the guests and they still have 2 more dinners planned. What a great idea and a wonderful thought. It touches our heart strings to know that Americans far away who have never even been to Brazil are doing this for our kids!
