DCB Fundraising Video
Dreams Can Be produced of our first "fundraising video" shot on location in Rio de Janeiro. Board Member Joyce pulled off the tough job of hosting the film in English live from the favelas as she introduces the issues surrounding street kids and abandoned youth in Brazil and what Dreams Can Be is doing to confront and solve these issues.
The video, under the direction of our good friend Paola Vieira,
written by another dear friend Leandra Pires and with the generous help of our "partners" at TV Zero, is 10 minutes in length and powerfully strikes the emotions of the viewer -- as was experienced at it's premiere on May 10th, 2002 in Pittsburgh, PA USA at the Cirque Du Soleil fundraiser.
We are currently circulating this video in both the US and Brazil and inspiring the generosity of its viewers to help our kids in Brazil.
