reconnect abandoned children and adolescents with their families if it is possible and safe; if not, we find alternate housing for them;

reintegrate young people with schools or independent learning programs to earn their high school diplomas;

offer street children and impoverished youth activities that teach discipline and provide opportunities for peer-interaction, increased self-awareness and the cultivation of self-esteem - life-skills which aid them in becoming responsible and happy citizens;

|
 |
address issues which lead children to the streets and confront these issues by presenting high-risk youth with options for avoiding a life on the street and a life of crime;
|
|
|
 |
are community driven and address each community's needs individually; this includes rallying for community support, as well as participating in the research, development and implementation of community programs;
|
|
|
 |
are grass roots, reputable, independent and have a unique and proven methodology;
|
|
|
 |
are small and struggling by helping to build them into self-sustaining models;
|
|
|
 |
attend to small groups of children - which allows for a more thorough focus on their complete and long term reintegration into society;
|
|
|
 |
assist communities in helping their own children to build futures;
|
|
|
 |
help children build futures.
